I've always been one to root for the underdog. Maybe that's part of the reason I'm so passionate about pet rescues. There's something incredibly special about seeing a formerly neglected animal bloom into a happy, loving pet.

That's why I volunteer as a photographer with local rescues. Getting these animal's stories and photographs out there - getting them seen - is a huge step to helping them find 'furever' homes. 

It's my small way of giving back to our community.
